Who Is Mr. Chipping On 'Riverdale'? Jughead's New Teacher Is A Mystery

Following the hypnotic cults and killer gargoyle monsters who terrorized Riverdale last season, it looks like Season 4 is taking a turn for the academic instead of the supernatural. Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers from Riverdale Season 4 Episode 2, "Fast Days at Riverdale High." The second episode of the new season saw Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead beginning their senior year... except one of the Core Four shocked everyone by leaving Riverdale High. As Jughead made the unexpected jump to a new boarding school, the fandom is left to wonder what Stonewall Prep is all about and who Mr. Chipping is on Riverdale. Jughead's new teacher seems nice enough, but since this is Riverdale, you never know if he could be hiding something.

Mr. Chipping popped up pretty early on in the new episode, when Riverdale High's new principal Mr. Honey called Jughead into his office on the first day of senior year to make introductions. Apparently, Chipping was a judge in the short story contest Jughead entered over the summer and Jughead's story impressed Chipping so much that he extended an offer for the young writer to transfer to his school, Stonewall Prep. Of course, Jughead was resistant to leave his friends behind, but he agreed to a tour of the prep school.

On the tour, Jughead and Betty met Stonewall Prep student Brett Weston Wallace, who came off as a totally pretentious jerk. Brett also told Jughead Mr. Chipping is considered one of the cool teachers at Stonewall Prep, and he invited Jughead to join a small Moby Dick discussion group led by Chipping.

After impressing the other Stonewall students by telling them the whale in Moby Dick didn't represent anything, Jughead seemed to change his tune about Stonewall. And once Betty realized how lacking the curriculum at Riverdale High is, she encouraged her boyfriend to take the opportunity at the new school. So, Jughead decided to enroll at Stonewall Prep, and F.P. even dropped a surprising little tidbit about the Jones family and the prep school: Jughead's grandpa attended Stonewall for a few months back in the day.

While Jughead's first day at Stonewall Prep still hasn't even happened yet, it definitely feels like something shady will be going on at this new school. The big mystery of the season is what will happen to Jughead on spring break, since two flash-forwards have teased that he will go missing and potentially even be killed later in this season. Given that Stonewall Prep is the big change in Jughead's life and viewers still barely know anything about the school, fans should be pretty suspicious of what could really be going on at Stonewall. To add to that, Skeet Ulrich recently revealed that F.P.'s father will return to Riverdale in the midseason finale, and F.P. just revealed that his dad has a connection to Stonewall. Hmmm, something is going on here...

It is still too early to really get a feel for Stonewall Prep and Mr. Chipping, so fans will have to keep tuning in to the new episodes of Riverdale to see how Jughead's new school will fit into the new season.

Riverdale Season 4 continues at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesdays on The CW.

Is Kevin Still Brainwashed On 'Riverdale'? Fans Don't Know Who To Trust

$

Although Season 4 of Riverdale technically kicked off with Oct. 9's Luke Perry tribute, the actual story of the brand new season did not really begin until Episode 2. With the kids back in school for their senior year, the Oct. 16 episode introduced some new drama that further explored all of those cliffhangers the Season 3 finale left fans with. One of the biggest questions from the new episode involves Kevin Keller's current state of mind. Is Kevin still brainwashed on Riverdale, or could he be telling the truth about really wanting to help Betty? It's a question that could lead to a massive twist very soon.

Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers from Riverdale Season 4 Episode 2, "Fast Times at Riverdale High." While the rest of her friends were focusing on kicking off their senior year, Betty is still all about trying to save her mom and sister from The Farm. In the Season 3 finale, Edgar Evernever fled Riverdale with all his Farmies after Betty discovered that his cult was actually a organ-harvesting scheme. But luckily, Betty also met up with her long-lost half-brother Charles Smith, who revealed he is an FBI agent who's been secretly working with Alice to infiltrate The Farm.

The new episode revealed Betty teamed up with Charles on his investigation, as the two half-siblings search for The Farm now that Alice has alarmingly gone radio silent. Thankfully, Betty has a lead: Kevin. In Season 3, Kevin was a full-fledged Farmie with his boyfriend Fangs, but in the finale episode, Edgar left Kevin behind so that he could inform Betty and the gang that The Farm had officially left town. While looking through Charles' records in the Oct. 16 episode, Betty discovered Kevin was still in contact with Fangs, making him a perfect in for her to try to sniff out The Farm's new location.

Betty's grand plan to use Kevin to try to track down The Farm through Fangs led her to tell Kevin the full truth about how her mom is actually working undercover with the FBI to try to take The Farm down from the inside. A repentant-seeming Kevin said he would help Betty however he could, and was actually able to get Fangs to bring him to The Farm. When he returned, he told Betty and Charles that Edgar and the rest of the Farmies had taken up arms and were ready for a war.

Or... is that a lie? Although Kevin seems to have turned over a new leaf since being hypnotized by Edgar Evernever, fans should not count out the possibility that he is still working with The Farm. After all, Kevin was one of The Farm's most fiercely loyal members, and he was absolutely distraught when the cult abandoned him in the Season 3 finale. Could he have really gotten over his dedication so quickly?

While Kevin may be genuinely helping Betty and Charles take down The Farm, there is also a very real chance he is still in cahoots with the cult and is setting Betty up for an ambush. At this point, it's impossible to know for sure where Kevin's allegiances truly lie, so fans will just have to keep an eye on him as Season 4 continues.

Riverdale Season 4 continues at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesdays on The CW.

Will George Die In 'Nancy Drew' Season 1? The Bucket Is A Bad Omen

Audiences were only recently introduced to the main cast of Nancy Drew, but already they might need to get ready to say goodbye to one of the characters. The CW's new drama is not wasting any time teasing a possibly fatal end for an early fan-favorite. After an ominous detail in the Oct. 16 episode, many fans are wondering: Will George die in Nancy Drew Season 1? She received a bad omen that has audiences worried about her future.

Warning: Spoilers for Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 2 follow. Even after only two episodes of Nancy Drew, two things are very clear to audiences: The town of Horseshoe Bay is filled with superstitions, and the people of town might have very good reason for sticking to them. A lot of people in the town believe Horseshoe Bay is haunted by the ghost of Dead Lucy, a young woman who died the night she was crowned the Horseshoe Bay Sea Queen almost 20 years ago. A lot of mysterious activity in the town gets blamed on Dead Lucy's ghost, and the citizens of the town also practice a lot of superstitious traditions in order to (hopefully) keep danger at bay. One of those is the bucket ritual, which takes place the last night of the Summer Festival each year. In Episode 2, what's usually a fun tradition turned into a very bad sign for George.

The bucket ritual dictates that each citizen of the town places a bucket of sea water in front of their home the last night of the Summer Festival. At the stroke of midnight, they're supposed to knock the bucket over. If there's sea water in the bucket, they're fine. But if blood spills out from the bucket, then that person is fated to die within the year. All of the main characters participated in the tradition in the Oct. 16 episode and found their buckets filled with clean sea water (or as clean as sea water can ever be). But, when it was George's (Leah Lewis) turn to knock over her bucket, she was met with a vast pool of blood. Uh, yikes.

Whether or not you believe in the Horseshoe Bay superstition, seeing a pool of blood on your front step is a pretty scary thing. So no matter where George stands on the superstition debate, it makes sense that she looked absolutely terrified when she knocked over her bucket.

It definitely doesn't help that George might actually have real reason to fear for her life. The show revealed George has been caught up in a romantic affair with Ryan Hudson (Riley Smith), whose wife Tiffany Hudson just died under very mysterious circumstances. After Ryan arranged for Tiffany's body to be moved to a morgue outside Horseshoe Bay, suspicions arose that Ryan is trying to cover up his possibly nefarious role in her death. If Ryan has a history of harming his lovers, then George really might need to look out for her life.

No matter what, George is embroiled in the investigation into Tiffany's death, and so far it's clear that danger surrounds this case. If the bucket omen means anything, then George definitely should be careful in upcoming episodes.

Season 1 of Nancy Drew continues on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

Who Killed Dead Lucy In 'Nancy Drew'? The Mystery Is Intense

I'll just jump right in: The mysteries on Nancy Drew are already keeping me up at night. Sure, when I tuned in to the new drama on The CW, I knew to expect mystery. After all, the series is based on the classic books that have dominated the shelves of children and pre-teens since the early 20th century. But, the show already has given viewers not just one, but two murder mysteries, and I'm totally invested in solving both of them. If you're anything like me, you want to know: Who killed Tiffany Hudson, and who killed Dead Lucy in Nancy Drew? The mystery got even more intense in the series' second episode.

Warning: Spoilers for Nancy Drew Season 1 Episode 2 follow. At the beginning of both episodes of Nancy Drew that have aired so far, the voice of Nancy Drew (Kennedy McCann) told the audience all about Dead Lucy. When she was alive, she was known as Lucy Sable, "Horseshoe Bay's most infamous Sea Queen." She died in the year 2000 near a rocky, seaside cliff just hours after being crowned the town's Sea Queen, and many people believe that her ghost still haunts Horseshoe Bay. Nancy's already had some odd encounters that make her wonder if those ghosts stories are true... and if her family actually had something to do with Lucy's death.

In case you're wondering, it's pretty clear the ghosts on the show aren't man-made by human villains. McCann told Entertainment Weekly:

The ghosts on this show are very real and scary! Nancys a skeptic, but as these supernatural things crop up, its piercing holes in her perception of the world. I mean, she hangs her hat on logic and having tangible reasoning behind everything. Thats always how she views the world, how she conducts her investigations.

In Season 1 Episode 1, the ghost of Dead Lucy led Nancy to her family's attic. That's where she found a message under the wallpaper that told her to find the dress that Lucy was wearing when she died, and Nancy did find it covered in blood, in a trunk in the attic. It reminded Nancy of the time in her childhood when she saw her parents dig up that same trunk in their backyard. It all had Nancy wondering if her parents could somehow be responsible for Lucy's death.

In Episode 2, Dead Lucy continued to haunt Nancy, and Nancy continued to investigate Lucy' death. Nancy confronted her dad, Carson (Scott Wolf), about her suspicions surrounding the trunk, but Carson had an explanation for everything. He told Nancy the bloody dress was from a prank he played on her mother, and that the trunk was simply something her grandmother had buried in their backyard. TBH, I don't know about Nancy, but I'm pretty sure her dad's probably not telling the truth.

Case in point: At the end of the episode, audiences caught a glimpse of Carson burning the bloody dress Nancy found. If the dress was just from a silly prank, why did Carson feel the need to burn it? Based on this, he seems pretty guilty. Right now, I would bet Carson is the one who killed Dead Lucy. However, Nancy Drew is already filled with twists and turns, so audiences might find out some new information soon that could change all their hunches. Only time (and maybe Dead Lucy) will tell.

Season 1 of Nancy Drew continues on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

These Roasted Turkey-Flavored Pringles Will Remind You Of Thanksgiving

I know it's hard to believe, but the end of 2019 is less than three months away and before it hits, Pringles is helping snackers get into a Turkey Day frame of mind. Prepare to swap out your Halloween candy for some savory munchies, because these Roasted Turkey-Flavored Pringles will have you feeling extra thankful this year. Shoppers are already starting to spot them on shelves, so you can start getting into a festive state of mind a month early.

If you're a Pringles devotee, you probably already know about the snack company's Roasted Turkey-inspired offering, which it has rolled out in limited-edition packs online for the past couple years. This year, it looks like 2019 is shaping up to be the year that companies really jump the gun on the holidays, as my editor said that she spotted giant canisters of the limited-edition crisps at a Jewel Osco grocery store in Chicago in mid-October. The brand confirmed to Elite Daily that this is the first time the Roasted Turkey-Flavored Pringles are being offered in grocery stores in full-sized cans in the United States, so you might have a better chance at getting a taste of the savory crisps this year.

Judging from the photos of the bigger cans, they're a little different from last year's Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner that came in three different flavors to mimic your classic Turkey Day spread.

While you won't be able to score any Pringles that taste like pumpkin pie or stuffing in crisp form this year, the company is bring back the pice de rsistance, aka Roasted Turkey-Flavored Pringles, that now come in a giant 5.5-ounce can for your snacking convenience.

A Pringles representative confirmed to Elite Daily that the Roasted Turkey-Flavored Pringles are available in the "snack aisle of grocery stores nationwide for $1.49." If you haven't spotted them on a grocery run just yet, the brand shares you can expect to see more cans of this savory treat as we head into November.

"The Roasted Turkey has a limited distribution right now, but will be more widely available later in November," a rep confirmed.

My editor tried out the Roasted Turkey Pringles and says it's definitely serving up plenty of Thanksgiving flavor. Comparing it to "crispy turkey skin," she says it "definitely has the taste of turkey, and you can smell [the turkey scent] as soon as you open the can, too." So, if you happen to be a big turkey fan, these limited-edition munchies will probably be your new favorite snack leading up to the holidays. After all, who wouldn't want to get their turkey cravings handled with none of the effort and cook time?

While there's no telling how long these festive bites will be around, I'd keep in mind that they did sell out after only a few hours when they made their online debut last year. In other words, if you do happen to spot them during your next grocery run, I'd grab as many cans of the savory crisps as you can carry and report back to the rest of us. Halloween might as well be canceled, because it looks like the countdown to Turkey Day has officially begun.

These Tweets About Rep. Elijah Cummings' Death At Age 68 Memorialize His Legacy

America has lost one of its leaders. On Thursday, Oct. 17, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings died at approximately 2:45 a.m. ET, his office announced. The congressman's death was attributed to longstanding health issues. He was 68 years old. Across America, many responded to the news by sharing their grief with tweets about Cummings' death, in which they memorialized his legacy.

In a statement shared on Twitter by ABC News Correspondent Kenneth Morton, Cummings' office said that he had died at John Hopkins Hospital due to "complications concerning longstanding health challenges." The statement did not offer more details. A public statement from Cummings' wife, Maryland Democratic Party Chair Dr. Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, called him "an honorable man who proudly served his district and the nation with dignity, integrity, compassion and humility." The statement added, "He worked until his last breath" for the country.

Cummings, who represented Maryland's 7th District, which includes the capital city of Baltimore, had served in Congress since 1996 and was an influential leader in government. As chairman of the powerful House Oversight Committee, he was an ally of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and was a major figure in the impeachment inquiry around President Donald Trump.

On social media, many were shocked and saddened by the loss of a towering and influential political leader. Across the political spectrum, many shared their grief and honored his history of leadership.

Even President Trump, with whom Cummings had openly sparred over White House resistance to investigations into the president, shared a thoughtful tweet honoring Cummings.

Cummings was known as a formidable critic of the president and, as Oversight chair, led investigations into the president, his family, and his dealings. In response to White House resistance to investigation and subpoenas from the Oversight Committee in May 2019, Cummings told The New York Times that "it sounds like [Trump is] asking us to impeach him. The president shot back by calling Cummings' home city of Baltimore a "rat and rodent infested mess," an insult which drew bipartisan condemnation. Cummings, in turn, responded that it was his "moral duty to fight for [his] constituents."

The congressman was known for his defense of his district, and drew headlines in 2015 for his actions following the death of Freddie Gray, a young black man who died in police custody. Just hours after delivering the eulogy at Gray's funeral, Cummings took to the streets to advocate for calm during demonstrations and protests over Gray's death.

Cummings was born in Baltimore as the son of sharecroppers in 1951, and graduated from Howard University in 1973, before earning his law degree from University of Maryland School of Law in 1976. He was first elected to public office in 1983 as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, where he served for 14 years before and was the first African American person to be named speaker pro tempore. In 1996, he was elected to his congressional seat, and as of 2019 was a senior member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure as well as his chairmanship of the Oversight committee. He served from 2003-2005 as the Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus during the 108th Congress.

Why Is It So Hard To Get Over Someone You Never "Officially" Dated?

$

Dating is more complicated than ever right now: you can be benched, breadcrumbed, and ghosted by your Tinder match... all in the same week. And even when a great first date gives you butterflies, knowing what to do next can be confusing AF. Luckily, in Elite Daily's series, We Need To Talk, our Dating editors break down the latest terms, trends, and issues affecting your life with their own hot takes to figure out how to navigate finding love in a world that changes faster than you can swipe left.

I don't think my parents have ever been more confused about my love life than the time I explained that the guy I had been seeing three times a week for five months wasn't actually my boyfriend. They didn't understand how going out on dates and meeting each other's friends and celebrating Valentine's Day together didn't constitute a relationship. (Uh, full disclosure, #same.) But once that situationship fizzled out, I was just as heartbroken as I would've been after a real breakup. Why is it so hard to get over someone you never "officially" dated? It sucks.

In the years since, I've heard too many stories from friends in the same frustrating position. So, together, the editors on Elite Daily's Dating team hunkered down in a conference room, popped open a bottle of ros, and played breakup jams while we sorted through a complicated whirlwind of feelings, determined to get to the bottom of this.

Ultimately, we came to a conclusion and figured out how to deal with this disappointing situation once and for all.

Hannah [4:30 p.m.]

yesterday, a friend was telling me that FIVE YEARS after someone she was kind of dating dumped her out of the blue, she is still confused and upset about why it happened

so much so that she was like, should i reach out to him? just to find out what happened?

it made me think

why is it so hard to get over people you never officially dated???

Vero [4:30 p.m.]

i have a feeling it has to do with unfinished business

and closure!

its like, you thought you were both on the same page, but you werent

Iman [4:31 p.m.]

i also have always wondered why not me? why not us? the what ifs kill me

like, i had a similar thing with this guy who started dating someone right after we ended things

after saying he didn't want anything serious

and i was like, OK fine fair but HER?!

editors note:

there was nothing wrong with her

i just didn't get why it wasn't me, us, etc

Vero [4:31 p.m.]

^ same thing happened to me and now they are engaged hahaha ahah

Hannah [4:32 p.m.]

i think we think that closure will feel better than it actually does

and then ON TOP of that

when a person you never "officially" dated dumps you, it feels like you can't "officially" be sad

and you think it'll hurt less if you just get that label or that explanation or that final conversation that fixes everything, but guess what: you are still sad

and that's normal and OK but it sucks

but girl, you gotta eat 10 orders of french fries and cry in front of jane the virgin marathons with your roommate for like a longggg time before it feels better

Iman [4:33 p.m.]

we published a great story about this

the basic synopsis is: when you start seeing someone, your hormones are heightened, and when you cut it off before they start lowering back to neutral, you experience a harder crash and it hurts so much more

Vero [4:34 p.m.]

closure is so complicated though

like i feel like even now i still don't have closure from that and it's been like, three years

cause i'm still wondering

WHAT HAPPENED

that's the eternal question

because it was sneaky!

it's always sneaky

you see no signs

and then once you have your wedding planned and the names of your first two children, they go

Y R PEOPLE THE WAY THAT THEY ARE

Hannah [4:34 p.m.]

do we think that not being official has anything to do with this lack of closure?

Vero [4:35 p.m.]

for sure it does

Hannah [4:35 p.m.]

because obviously breakups always suck but in these cases, you cant technically even say, like, we broke up"

Vero [4:35 p.m.]

if you talk about your expectations for the relationship from the beginning, youll know what to expect!

if you dont talk about it, a breakup could come out of left field

Hannah [4:36 p.m.]

right but vero have you heard that talking about feelings is intimidating

idk if you have

Vero [4:36 p.m.]

hannah

Iman [4:37 p.m.]

but that's so painful it's like

i understand why people put off talking about feelings

its hard

Vero [4:37 p.m.]

when i had the "what are we" conversation with the guy that is now engaged, the whole reason i had it was because my mom served me with the hot quote, "if you love someone, set them free.

Hannah [4:38 p.m.]

do you think you would you still feel annoyed by him moving on if you had, like, a fully-fledged relationship with him?

because that would be a different scenario

it would be like, you tried a relationship with him and it didnt work out

whereas in this case, the question is still there: COULD a relationship have worked out, if you had given it a try?

that almost seems more painful in a way

like, longer-burning, low-simmering pain

compared to the intense, all-consuming pain of a breakup?

idk i am projecting

Iman [4:38 p.m.]

okay so i think the answer is that if you had actually been in a relationship with him and then broken up, you would know why you arent engaged to him

but if you didn't get around to officially dating, you still have room to wonder what if

Hannah [4:38 p.m.]

and the ~ what if ~ is infuriating

Vero [4:39 p.m.]

hannah, to answer your question, i don't think i would feel this way (no closure, still confused) about him if we had had a full-on relationship talk

because that would have established what we were. and if it didn't work it didn't work out and i could be able to say, he was my boyfriend, we broke up because of XYZ, period.

instead, what i got was: let's do everything that people in relationships do and not call each other partners or talk about what we're doing.

so when we DID talk about it, and i realized we were on opposite pages, i was so hurt! cause i soo thought we were.

Hannah [4:40 p.m.]

ooh vero so you're saying it's like two separate layers of hurt

the hurt of not being justified in calling it a relationship

and then the hurt of it ending in an unsatisfying way

Vero [4:40 p.m.]

it's the hurt of realizing we wanted different things and then the hurt of asking myself why and then never having an answer

like to this day i do not know why he told me he didn't want to have a girlfriend at that moment in time, and then two months after we stopped talking, got himself a girlfriend

Hannah [4:41 p.m.]

and then when there's no answer, you can spiral and invent 100 possibilities on your own

Vero [4:41 p.m.]

like were they talking at the same time we were talking?? what does she have that i don't have? what happened? what did i do wrong? all these questions flooded my brain the second i saw his instagram post

it took me a while to be like

ok

there's nothing wrong with you

Hannah [4:42 p.m.]

i want to go back and give you a hug in that moment

Iman [4:42 p.m.]

you are great and you didn't do anything wrong, you just wanted different things

Hannah [4:43 p.m.]

the thing about relationships i think is often hard to remember when you are in the midst of a breakup is that it's not a reflection of your worth

the timing, the personalities, the chemistry, whatever.... just didn't work out in this one instance!

Vero [4:43 p.m.]

^EXACTLY

i now believe that we were looking for different things out of the person we wanted to be with

and just because i didn't have what he was looking for, doesn't mean i don't have other great qualities that someone else is going to love

and vice versa

he was not perfect!!

it is so easy to build someone up in your mind

Hannah [4:44 p.m.]

because its easy to dwell on achieving the goal of being in a relationship with this person, as opposed to actually evaluating if you really do like this person

Vero [4:44 p.m.]

yessss

Iman [4:44 p.m.]

that's really it

Vero [4:45 p.m.]

and you're just so excited by the prospects and the possibilities (because you haven't talked about them so you're going on and on about what's going to happen in the future in your mind!!!), that the person becomes so attractive to you because they are so mysteriously unattainable

Hannah [4:46 p.m.]

and just because the relationship wasnt real doesnt mean that it cant really hurt

feelings are justifiable no matter what!

your heart doesn't know the difference

Iman [4:46 p.m.]

that whole "girl get over it you're better than that" thing can be dismissive

Hannah [4:47 p.m.]

i think it's a good idea to treat these situations as real breakups

be kind to yourself

give yourself time to grieve

remember that you found somebody once, you can find somebody again

don't throw yourself back into dating one second later because then you can fall into the comparison trap of comparing every new to date to the person who dumped you

Vero [4:48 p.m.]

also, guys, therapy is so great

validating your own feelings and remembering you're allowed to be sad

blocking them on IG helps a lot

i mean not like i would know

but i did unfollow him and that was helpful!

out of sight out of mind

Iman [4:47 p.m.]

out of feed, out of mind

11 Movies To Watch After A Bad Date To Help You Believe In Love Again

$
0
0

After a totally lackluster date night, one of the best ways to ease your pain (besides hanging out with a bowl of Ben & Jerry's) is to watch a movie. But what kind of flick should you go with? Sure, you can watch a weepy drama and indulge in sob-fest. Or you can watch a cynical drama to assure yourself that love sucks and you're better off without it. But I personally think the best movies to watch after a bad date are ones that will make you laugh while also reminding you that love is possible for anyone, as long as you're willing to wait for it. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic.

Romantic comedies sometimes get a bad rap, but I think there's something cathartic about the mushy, fun, feel-good quality of a good rom-com. Who cares if they're full of grandiose gestures, ridiculous coincidences, and unrealistic expectations? Whether you find them swoon-worthy or lame AF, rom-coms can serve as the perfect distraction from life's little disappointments. The best ones will also remind you that relationships are never without their complications, and if you need a pick-me-up after an uninspiring date, these are the movies to turn to.

,

'Set It Up'

Netflix on YouTube

In a nod to classic romantic comedies, this Netflix original is about two demanding workaholics who unwittingly bring together their overworked assistants when the assistants attempt to play matchmaker with their bosses. A great match could be right in front of you, and this movie is proof that you can fall for someone when you least expect it.

'To All the Boys I've Loved Before'

Netflix on YouTube

This Netflix original is based on the first book in Jenny Han's bestselling series, which follows the story of Lara Jean Covey, a high-schooler whose secret love letters to former crushes accidentally get circulated to those boys. As well as being adorable as heck, it's the perfect reminder that even the biggest romantic disasters can lead to wonderful surprises.

'13 Going On 30'

Media Graveyard on YouTube

Though you've probably never woken up after your 13th birthday party in the body of a 30-year-old fashion magazine editor, I think anyone can relate to gawky Jenna Rink and the feeling of not being ready to grow up even after it already happens. Whether you have a Matty out there waiting for you or not, this movie is for anyone who wants to believe that nothing is irreversible and that a little childlike faith (and wishing dust) can open the door to wild possibilities.

'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'

Movieclips Classic Trailers on YouTube

In My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Toula Portokalos' family starts to panic when she turns 30 and is still unmarried, and under that pressure, Toula decides to finally take control of her own life. She quits her job at the family restaurant, focuses on herself, and unexpectedly falls in love with someone who isn't Greek. This one is for all the relatives who have ever given you crap about your dating life, and it's a great reminder that finding love usually means learning to love yourself first.

'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'

MoviesView on YouTube

In Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a struggling musician gets unexpectedly dumped by his TV star girlfriend and escapes to Hawaii only to find that his ex is at the same resort with her obnoxious new boyfriend. Heartbreak has never been so funny, especially since this movie will give you hope that someone's out there waiting for you who's way better than your ex.

'Ali's Wedding'

Madman Films on YouTube

This rom-com tells the story of the titular Ali, a charismatic and musically-talented son of a cleric who is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the woman he's already been promised to at his father's mosque while also trying to convince his dad that he's doing well enough in school to become a doctor (spoiler: he's not). If you think your love life is complicated, Ali may just give you a run for your money.

'Never Been Kissed'

Movieclips Classic Trailers on YouTube

Just like 13 Going On 30's Jenna Rink, Josie Geller's adolescence was far from charmed. However, when she goes undercover as a high school student for a journalism assignment, she gets a chance to do it all over though it doesn't go quite the way she expected. This rom-com shows that no one has to be stuck as "Josie Grossie" forever.

Here's How The Kardashians Reportedly Feel About Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott's Split

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott fans, there may be hope for you yet. It's only been a few days since the exes met up to spend time with their daughter Stormi and, now, Jenner's family is reportedly all in favor of the exes reuniting. Elite Daily reached out to the Kardashians' teams for comment on the report, but did not hear back by the time of publication. This is major because how the Kardashians feel about Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's split could be a huge deciding factor on whether they do or not since there's nothing like a family's seal of approval.

According to PEOPLE's insider, the Kardashians are hoping Jenner and Scott will reconcile any differences and get back together since the former flames have been open about co-parenting their 20-month-old daughter, Stormi.

"Kylie and Travis are spending time together because of Stormi, the insider said in reference to Scott's Instagram story of his tiny tot dancing to his music while Jenner can be heard in the background saying, "She's so cute."

They seem okay. They arent arguing or having any disagreements," the source said.

"Her family wants them to be together. Travis might not be perfect, but hes a great partner and dad," the source continued. "Everyone would be upset if Kylie cant figure things out with Travis." Wow. If that's true, he seems to be highly regarded by the KarJenner clan. Well done.

Theyre a great team, the source added. And its a good sign that they still enjoy hanging out. Yep, it is, even if those hang sessions are just for Stormi's sake.

Now, this update comes on the heels of another source telling PEOPLE the relationship is up in the air, but there is a good chance Jenner and Scott will work it out.

Its all over the place. Theyre still figuring things out but are spending time together," they said, before a third source added there is absolutely hope that they will get back together. Elite Daily reached out to Jenner and Scott's teams for comment on PEOPLE's report, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

They are both young, but smart when it comes to their relationship" the insider finished. That definitely seems true, since the makeup mogul took to Twitter to explain the situation after news broke that she and Scott were no longer an item.

When rumors started flying in early October that Jenner and Scott had broken up and that Jenner was possibly moving on with her ex Tyga after she was seen dropping friends off at a Los Angeles studio where Tyga was recording music, she quickly confirmed one rumor and put the other to rest.

On Oct. 3, Jenner tweeted, "Travis and i are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority." And then followed that up, writing, "The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no '2am date with Tyga'. You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at."

While it is great to hear Jenner's family is reportedly down for the exes to date again, it looks like they're only interested in doing what's truly best for Stormi and their relationship, even if that means they remain just friends.

Kylie Jenner's Photos Of Stormi & True's Pumpkin Patch Playdate Are So Pure

Confession time: I could watch videos of Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi Webster, all freaking day. She is just so cute and sweet and happy, and so clearly in love with her mama. Luckily, the makeup mogul doesn't mess around when it comes to sharing clips of her mini me on social media, and it seems like we get new content on the daily. Thanks for being awesome, KyKy! Have y'all seen Kylie Jenner's photos of Stormi and True's pumpkin patch playdate with Rob Kardashian's daughter Dream? The trio of cousins are a total fall mood, and the pics and vids will legit make your day.

OK, so Jenner hit up Instagram on Oct. 16 to share a slideshow of images from the outing on her feed, plus a whole bunch of other stuff in her IG Story. We get to see Stormi decked out in the cutest jack-o-lantern-printed outfit hitting up a pumpkin patch with Dream and Khlo Kardashian's daughter, True. They pick out pumpkins, fake-drive a tractor, and basically run around having the best time.

"Let the festivities begin," Jenner, 22, captioned her slideshow.

Check it out:

So sweet!

The three girls playing around on the pumpkins are just such a vibe.

Also, I may or may not have watched this video of Stormi running around the patch about 20 times. She's just so stinkin' cute!

Let's take a closer look at her on-theme outfit:

I wonder if they make that in adult sizes?

Here's Stormi pretending to drive a tractor with True:

Love the denim top and gold Uggs, girl!

And here's Stormi selecting her own baby pumpkin:

Nice choice!

The excursion comes two weeks after Jenner and Stormis dad, Travis Scott, confirmed that they had split.

"Kylie is doing fine since her breakup with Travis," a source told Us Weekly. "Shes happy and things in her life are great. [Kylie and Travis] love each other and they share a daughter that will bind them together for life. Theyve been great partners in that respect. They are both putting aside any romantic differences to be the best parents in the world for their daughter. Travis still has a lot of love for Kylie and respects her as a mom. He will be very involved in Stormis life."

Love that.

Meanwhile, in the Oct. 10 issue of GQ Germany, Scott gushed about his baby girl and the way she's changed his life.

"Stormi is like a battery, which has given me tremendous energy," he explained. "[She] showed me so many things that I did not [get before]. Many things in life I only noticed when my daughter was born. [Fatherhood] is the most impressive thing that ever happened to me. Really."

The rapper went on to share that watching Stormi grow has been "the most magical experience in the world," and that he's "gained a lot of passion for other areas in life" since her birth.

Based on the video below, I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

Ariana Grande Asked Kylie Jenner To Sample Her "Rise & Shine" Vocals, LOL

Could Kylie Jenner be adding music video maven to her resume? After a clip of the lip kit queen showing off her singing chops to her daughter, Stormi, went viral, Ariana Grande felt inspired by it and now I can't help but hope these two aren't trolling us with the possibility of a collab. Legit, Ariana Grande asked Kylie Jenner to sample her "Rise and Shine" vocals, and the video has fans talking.

That's right. It all began on Oct. 10 when Jenner posted a Kylie Cosmetics office tour video to her YouTube page. In the 16-minute clip, Jenner showed off the room Stormi naps in while she works and delivered a gloriously pitchy performance of a tune she uses to wake the tot up.

"Rise and shine," Jenner sang as the 1-year-old sat awake in her crib.

The sweet mother-daughter moment quickly went viral and fans on Twitter couldn't help but turn Jenner's singing into a variety of memes. They pointed out a few awkward parts about the video, including that Stormi was already awake when Jenner decided to show off her singing skillz.

"Bruh why does kyliejenner even sing when she turns the light on bro she walks in turns the light on the kid is standing up and she STILL sings RISE AND SHINE?????? THE KID HAS ALREADY RISEN AND SHONE why why did she sing what is thisplease i havent slept in days," one wrote.

Thousands of Jenner's fans, meanwhile, have been trying to figure out how to set the song as their morning alarm.

"I wish @KylieJenner would wake me up with her glorious 'rise and shine,'" one wrote.

That's when Grande decided to get in the fun. The singer posted an Instagram Story of herself singing the lyrics on Oct. 16, and wrote, "@Kyliejenner can I sample."

Of course, Jenner reposted the clip and responded: "Yes, yes you can @arianagrande. As long as I'm in music video.."

And now, I wait (im)patiently for Grande and Jenner to collab on this. Though Grande's comment could simply be a joke, she's been known to sample music from other famous artists in the past.

The former Sam & Cat actress sampled NSYNC's "It Makes Me Ill" in her song "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and Rodgers and Hammerstein's "My Favorite Things" in her smash hit "7 Rings."

And who can forget earlier this year when Jenner's mom, Kris Jenner, made a cameo in Grande's music video for "Thank U, Next?"

If you've been hiding in a rabbit hole all of 2019, here's a refresher: Kris appeared as Regina George's mom from the hit film Mean Girls in the music video. As Grande recreated the iconic "Jingle Bell Rock" talent show scene from the film, Kris sported a pink tracksuit in the audience as she held a camera and cheered her on.

ArianaGrandeVevo on YouTube

When Kris and Grande's first meeting about the music video aired on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in May, the momager gifted the singer with one of Kylie's lip kits.

"She walked in with a Kylie box this big, and I started crying my eyes out and I literally put everything on," Grande gushed.

Between Grande's love of sampling music and her connection to the Kardashian/Jenner clan, there is a beacon of hope that this collab with Kylie could actually come to fruition. Here's to hoping!

The 'AHS: 1984' Episode 6 Promo Reveals The Aftermath Of That Big Twist

$

American Horror Story: 1984 has been a serial killer fiesta. After all, why have one serial killer, or even two, when everyone can get in on the murdering fun? From Margaret to Montana, everyone at Camp Redwood seems to be in on the serial killer game. By the time all the murdering was over in "Red Dawn," it was a surprise there was anyone left to arrest, let alone star in the final three episodes. But the AHS: 1984 Episode 6 promo promises the show must go on and for a good reason. It's the milestone 100th episode! Warning: Spoilers for AHS: 1984 follow.

Season 9, Episode 5, "Red Dawn," saw the camp run red with blood, suggesting that Camp Redwood's name doesn't come from the trees. Let's recap all the murderous mayhem:

  • Margaret killed Chet
  • Xavier killed Mr. Jingles
  • Margaret killed Xavier
  • Brooke killed Montana

Unfortunately, Brooke's killing of Montana happened in broad daylight just as the first bus of campers pulled up. Whoops! With no chance to explain this was self-defense because Montana has been trying to kill Brooke all season, Brooke was dragged away. Margaret lied her way out of any suspicions. (Again!) And a whole lot of parents of campers are probably out of their deposits.

So where could the show possibly go from here, considering how much "Red Dawn" felt like a season finale? To "Episode 100," of course!

Check out the trailer:

TV Promos on YouTube

As always, the synopsis is practically useless for any purposes of figuring out what happens next week.

With the horrors of the night behind them, the survivors deal with the fallout of their choices.

On the one hand, the synopsis suggests next week's episode will be centered on the living. Brooke will most likely be put on trial for murdering Montana, and maybe everyone else too. There's also Margaret, continuing to hide her killing ways in polite society. And let's not forget Donna, who discovered she is actually "Evil" (with a capital E), having inherited her father's penchant for killing.

But the trailer tells an entirely different story. As noted early in the season, the dead don't always stay dead. And if they do stay dead, they come back as ghosts who have the good fortune to be solid enough to partake in the pleasures of the flesh. (Or, in the case of some, the pleasures of killing the flesh.)

And that's what the ghosts of Camp Redwood are now up to. Montana was already all-in on murder when she was alive. It seems like she's decided to take it next level now that she's dead. In fact, she and Chet are having quite the grand old time taking out everyone who has the misfortune, or the foolishness, to pass through Camp Redwood.

At least poor Ray, or poor Ray's ghost, has a little bit of moral compass left to suggest that perhaps this is not the best course of action. Too bad he's a little too dead to do anything about it.

Skai Jackson Is A Voice For Her Generation, So Listen Up – EXCLUSIVE

When Skai Jackson arrives for her photo shoot with Elite Daily, she comes with a copy of her new autobiography in hand. She sits for a good five minutes watching as I flip through the first chapter, cooing over every adorable baby photo contained within. The idea of watching someone flip through my baby photos sounds like a nightmare, but Jackson is unbothered. She got her big break at 9 years old on Disney Channel's hit show Jessie and she's been in the spotlight ever since, so she's used to this. While separating herself from her childhood persona was once something Jackson struggled with, it's not anymore. She's got bigger things to worry about, like cyberbullies and the constant prospect of her latest Instagram becoming another viral meme. Y'know, normal teen things. Skai Jackson is a voice for her generation, and her new autobiography is just one way she's sharing her story with the world.

"It used to bother me when [fans] used to call me Zuri," Jackson says after she bangs out her photo shoot in 15 minutes flat (this girl knows her angles). Jackson played the imaginative, wise-cracking Zuri Ross on Disney Channel's Jessie and its spinoff, Bunk'd, for eight years. "People couldnt separate that Zuri was a character and that Im just me."

Jackson realized pretty quickly that getting angry was futile, especially since she loves the legacy she was able to create with her character. "They watch me on TV and thats what they are used to hearing at all times, so I dont really get mad anymore," she says.

Jackson's zen attitude doesn't mean she's not pushing back when necessary, though. She's not shy about keeping it real with her 6 million Instagram followers. "[I'll be] like, 'Guys, I understand you love seeing me and I was on Jessie, but you have to understand that [Zuri and I are] two separate things." One of the most common comments Jackson gets from longtime fans is she's not as innocent as Zuri. "Im like, 'Well its Disney Channel ... a person doesnt act like this in real life,'" she says.

Thanks to her presence on social media, however, fans are starting to understand who Jackson is in the real world. Jackson has been navigating her way through social media fame (and all the drama and bullying that comes with it) since she was 11 years old.

"Bullying has kind of always been in my life," she says. "I never really understood. Like, why are these people saying such mean things about me? They dont even know me. I used to be so mad about it. I used to argue with them in the comments. But then I realized, these people dont know me ... I have more supporters rather than haters."

Jackson's support system has undoubtedly played a huge part in how she's managed to deal with the pressures of cyberbullying. One of those sources of support was Jackson's late Jessie co-star, Cameron Boyce, who died suddenly from a seizure as a result of epilepsy on July 6, 2019.

Boyce left his mark on the world and especially on Jackson. "He didnt necessarily have to say anything for me to learn from him. It was just so much in his actions," she says. "He really taught me, its really not that serious. If you were in an argument with Cameron, it would literally be for two minutes and then he would give you a big hug, because that's not the important thing in life ... I was already a nice person, but you could always go the extra mile ... Im so glad I was around him for five years straight."

Jackson shares Boyce's outlook on dealing with drama. When a simple, pretty photo of Jackson sitting in a blue dress went viral as the "Petty Skai Jackson" meme back in 2016, Jackson wasn't sure how to feel about it at first. "I was like, 'Is that something I should be mad about? Are they making fun of me?'" But she quickly decided it's really not that serious.

"Obviously, they are making fun of me, but not in a terrible way... Ariana Grandes a meme and all these big people are. So its really not a [big] thing," she says. "It got really funny to me."

Whether she's being misunderstood by her fans, getting cyber-bullied, or experiencing loss, Jackson learns a lesson every step of the way, and she's laid them all out in her autobiography, Reach For The Skai: How To Inspire, Empower, And Clapback. Jackson has a wise-beyond-her-years ability to compartmentalize hate she gets on social media with the maturity of someone... well, honestly, I don't know many people who can deal with the level of hate Jackson does with grace at any age. So, if the first thing you thought when you found out Jackson wrote an autobiography was, "What the heck can a teenager possibly teach me about life?" consider that question asked and answered, because, damn. Skai Jackson has this self-confidence thing down.

Britney Spears Dyed Her Hair Blonde Again & All Is Right With The World

Attention, fellow Britney lovers! I'm happy to report that Britney Spears dyed her hair blonde again, and finally, all is right with the world. Our girl's signature look has always been a buttery blonde, but every now and then, she makes a change that looks equally fab. Still, I always find myself patiently waiting for her to return to her lighter locks, and I'm here to say it's finally happened. Praise the blonde bombshell gods!

If you're not following one of the world's most iconic pop stars on Instagram, seriously, what are you waiting for? Spears has amassed almost 23 million followers at this point, and she blesses them with frequent updates ranging from dance breaks to OOTD shots to selfie-style videos. She even took to the app to announce her new brown strands back in September, and credited her little sis, Zoey 101's Jamie Lynn Spears (An icon in her own right!), with inspiring her to go dark for fall. After the original brunette debut, Spears went quite a few shades darker and achieved a rich, chocolatey shade that just screamed fall. However, always one to go back to blonde, she's finally made the switch back again.

Here's the first selfie in which Spears showed off darker locks:

It was definitely a big change, but at this point, it still looked more like a dark dirty blonde than a full-on brown shade.

However, many of her October selfies confirm she then went even darker:

And in some lights, it her new look featured a reddish tint as well:

She proudly showed off her brunette 'do while supporting boyfriend Sam Asghari at the Daytime Beauty Awards, where she looked fab:

It really did seem like she was feeling her brunette fantasy! Even so, her most recent post proves she's once again back to blonde:

"So maybe blondes do have more fun ," she captioned a selfie-style video in which she poses and makes faces at the camera. "Its not professional Hollywood hair and makeup .... but hey its real and Im watching Vacation !!!" her caption continued, and she went on to note that her hair was actually wet from the pool.

Our girl is a blonde at heart, so TBH, I'm glad to see her return to her signature shade:

This 2003 throwback proves shes been blonde for almost all of her career highlights, and it's most definitely the hair color that comes to mind when one thinks of her go-to look:

That said, it's no surprise fans are glad to see Spears back to blonde, and the comments beneath her Instagram post are overwhelmingly positive. Many agreed with her conclusion, asserting that "Blondes definitely have more fun ," while others were happy to see her looking her best, showering her with affirmations like "Youre so beautiful " and "You are just perfect the way you are!" Can Britney fans start commenting on my pics, too? I could use a little extra positivity on the 'Gram! Blonde or brunette, Spears' fans don't care, as long as their fave is happy and healthy. That's all that matters, folks!

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynold's First Photo With Their Third Baby Is So Sweet

Stop the presses! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's first photo with their third baby just graced social media and my heart can't handle it. After keeping news of their daughter's arrival under wraps for weeks after welcoming her in Summer 2019, the two are finally ready to showcase the baby on social media kind of.

Reynolds teased the pic on Twitter on Oct. 16, with the baby's face covered with a smiley face. The couple is notoriously private when it comes to sharing pics of their older daughters, James, 4, and Inez, 3, so his effort to hide his youngest child's face is no surprise.

"I love [British Columbia.] I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in," he wrote alongside a photo of himself, Lively, and their baby all bundled up. "On Oct. 21, the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY. Im proud of the climate progress made the last 4 years. Click http://Elections.ca for voting info. #Capilano"

The snap is seriously heartwarming. Reynolds not only looks like a doting dad as he holds the baby, but he and Lively look so in love. The Gossip Girl alum can be seen adoringly looking up at her hubby with her arms wrapped around his waist. I need more Reynolds family content ASAP.

On Oct. 16, Lively also shared a rare, intimate photo on Instagram showing a throwback snap of herself from when she was pregnant.

"I teamed up with @Amazon Baby Registry because my friends are popping out kids and Im sick of having to type up a new 'must have' list each time. Im not THAT good of a friend," she joked alongside the pic. "So here it is, all in one place (link in bio). These are the specific products that have helped me with my little ones. Yes this is an ad, but that doesnt make it untrue. ."

Lively and Reynolds' newest addition to their family is "about two months old," according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly on Oct. 5. The outlet reported that Lively gave birth sometime over the summer. Elite Daily reached out previously to both Lively and Reynolds' reps for comment on Us Weekly's report, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

Lively made a statement at the New York City premiere of Reynolds' film Pokmon: Detective Pikachu in May when she arrived in a yellow dress with her baby bump on full display. At the time, the Simple Favor star's pregnancy news was not yet public knowledge, so imagine fans' shock over the revelation!

Lively then announced her happy news in the cutest way post-Pikachu premiere. Urgh, they are legit the cutest.

"PokeMOM.... Out now," she captioned a series of pics.

Lively and Reynolds are literally the epitome of cool parents, too. While we don't know what goes on behind closed doors, if their social media trolling of each other says anything about the humor in their home, I can honestly say those are three lucky little girls.

While they often exchange jabs in the comments section of their Instagram posts, Reynolds recently had the best response to Lively's post with her former Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester.

"I cant believe how much Ive changed," Reynolds quipped on Sept. 22 after Lively posted a photo of her and Meester holding hands while presenting at an award show 10 years ago.

I'll now be actively refreshing their pages awaiting new pictures of Lively and Reynolds' adorable family... as if I didn't already do that.

The Photos Of William & Kate Surprising Kids On Their Birthday Are Sweet

It's a party, it's a party! A royal party, that is. While most children could only dream of a prince and a duchess showing up at their birthday bash, that's exactly what happened to three lucky kids in Pakistan on Oct. 17. The children, Iman, 12, Ibrahim, 6, and Daniyal, 8, got the ultimate surprise when Prince William and Kate Middleton waltzed into the celebration. The best part? There's photo evidence of the adorable moment! Believe me when I tell you the photos of William and Kate surprising kids on their birthday are almost too cute to handle.

The royal couple headed to the SOS Childrens Village, a local charity that provides shelter to more than 150 boys and girls in the Pakistani city of Lahore. With three birthdays in the village that day, there was quite the celebration to be had! The day was filled with games, music, and traditional Pakistani cakes, according to People. Oh, and of course, the royal couple joined in on a rendition of "Happy Birthday." Classic!

William even took the time to sit down and speak with the children individually. The prince reportedly asked each of the childrens ages, before then adding, How old do you think I am?

Twenty-one," one child reportedly replied. Aww!

Ill take 21, thats good! William reportedly replied. I am a little bit older than that. Can you guess? I have my own children. A little boy called Louis and then there is Charlotte and then George, who is 6. Hes almost as old as you," he said, speaking on his family.

Every single photo captured at the surprise appearance is truly heart-melting. In one of the snapshots, Kate and William huddled up in a circle with the kids and appeared to be in deep conversation. William was seen leaning in towards the children to better hear what they were saying, while Kate placed a loving hand on one girl's shoulder. It appears that the royals made fast friends with the children!

Another photo showed William and Kate standing in front of a colorful display of presents, balloons, flowers, and cake. The elaborate set-up looked like a birthday dream come true! The couple was all smiles as they stood in front of the decadent, two-tiered dessert and looked very ready to dole out an array of gifts. "Add a little confetti to each day," a sign behind the couple read, which couldn't have been more fitting.

The couple's surprise visit to the children was part of a larger five-day trip to Pakistan. Kate had nothing but the sweetest things to say about her trip around the nation with her hubby.

When delivering a speech at the SOS children's village, she said:

We have been really moved and touched by what we have seen, and by the happy home you have made. Im aware that many of you have experienced extremely difficult times in your lives. But it is inspiring to see how you have used your strength and positivity to help transform the lives of so many young children here.

Ugh, I cry.

Kate and William's trip to Pakistan concludes on Oct. 18 but I'll be reminiscing on these sweet photos for quite a while!

Sleeping Over Your Partner's Family's House Doesn't Have To Be Awk

When you're dating someone you care about, it's totally natural to want to snuggle up with them every night and wake up together in the morning. But when your partner still happens to live at home with their parents, that can get a little tricky, to say the least. Is sleeping over your partner's familys house even really an option? Or is it just too awkward? This is a question that is becoming increasingly more common as Lisa Concepcion, certified dating and relationship expert and founder of LoveQuest Coaching, tells Elite Daily. "[In] a time, especially now where student loans are crushing people, [its] common for adult kids to move back in with their parents," says Concepcion. Given that, exactly how to navigate sleepovers under the same roof as your SO's parents house may be something you need to know. Especially how to do it without things being weird over breakfast.

The first question to ask yourself is if it's actually really necessary to sleep over at their place, says life coach Nina Rubin. "If you live alone or with peer roommates, it is probably easier to stay at your own place," Rubin tells Elite Daily. So, if you can't avoid sleeping at your partner's place, her advice is to do so sparingly. "The reasons to stay over may be logistical: near an event or late at night. [But] its best not to make a habit of staying at my parents house," she says.

Some couples, however, don't have that option, so in that scenario there are things the experts say you can do to make staying the night more comfortable for everyone. It really all comes down to being respectful of the parents and of the home itself, says Rubin. "Acknowledge the parents and make conversation when you see each other. Dont avoid them or be awkward. Make sure your partner remembers the rules of the house and you learn them also. If the house is a shoes-off zone, follow suit," she explains.

It's also good to be a tidy and helpful overnight guest, says Concepcion. "The etiquette is to be respectful and incredibly neat. You want to make sure towels aren't left on the floor or on the bed, any cups, food, trash of any kind is handled," she advises. "Pitch in wherever possible be part of the family and don't just hunker down in a room. Make an effort to learn to cook, help out with anything and make it more about spending time together."

As for sex in the house, Concepcion advises to chose your timeing wisley. "Sex while the parents are home is off the table. However, if you want to have quickie sex while the parents step out, be certain there's no chance of getting caught," she says.

Depending on how the home is set up, Rubin takes a more relaxed approach to getting it on at the parents' house. "If your significant other has a back house or apartment, staying there isnt really a problem. If its the childhood bedroom next to the parents room, you may feel uncomfortable in the morning," says Rubin.

Ultimately, the experts agree that while sleeping over at your SO and their parents place can be a little tricky, it can really be no big deal so long as you are respectful of the whole family, are friendly, and stay polite. So, go on and get your overnight snuggle on.

Are Zendaya & Jacob Elordi Dating? This Reported Update Is Telling

Ummm... wait a minute. Are Zendaya and Jacob Elordi dating? According to a report by Us Weekly on Oct. 16, the two Euphoria stars just might be. The publication claimed the two, who have been rumored to be seeing each other for since August, were reportedly spotted on what seemed to be a movie date. Elite Daily reached out to reps for both Zendaya and Jacob and did not hear back in time for publication.

An onlooker told Us Weekly that they spotted Zendaya and Jacob watching a movie at the Sherman Oaks Galleria on Oct. 12. It was just the two of them out together, the onlooker shared with Us Weekly.

The reported update may have been pretty public, but Jacob was reportedly trying to keep a low profile. Jacob looked like he was trying to be incognito, wearing a hat that covered his face, the onlooker noted.

Rumors of Jacob and Zendaya dating first broke out when the two traveled to Athens, Greece together in August. According to an eyewitness who spoke to Us Weekly the couple reportedly looked like they were getting a little cozy.

There was even reportedly a little drum roll, please flirting going on during the trip. At one point, they were walking with each other and being a little flirty, the source noted.

Neither Zendaya nor Jacob have said anything about whether or not they're dating, but their season one co-star Will Peltz spoke to Us Weekly on Sept. 12 about the possibility. And he seemed super down.

I have no predictions, but theyd definitely be a cute couple, though, for sure! Petz said, adding that he thinks Zendaya is "like, the next Beyonc."

Zendaya may be falling in love now but the actress has also faced her fair share of heartbreak. In a post on her app from January of 2017, Zendaya opened up to her fans about the heartbreak she faced back in 2016 and how she was able to ultimately overcome it.

"Y'all know I'm not shy about telling you I went through a bad breakup last year," she began. "I'm hella over that but trust, it wasn't easy."

She went on to explain that getting "hella over that" involved a two-step healing process.

First, she made a conscious effort to continue moving forward with her life. I started forcing myself to have a lot more fun," she explained. "I tried new things going out and just doing more stuff.

Second, she cut her ex completely out of her life. None of that "staying friends with your ex" BS for our girl Zendaya. "I got rid of old text messages, pictures and their clothing I still had. You don't hang on to old Band-Aids," she shared. "Throw that in the trash! You have to get rid of everything associated with them. It's best to get rid of their number. Or if you can't quite let go, at least change the title of their name in your phone."

Most recently, Zendaya was rumored to have been dating her Spider-Man castmate Tom Holland, though those rumors quickly were put to rest when news broke that Tom was reportedly dating someone who's... not Zendaya (though the person's name is not yet public).

For his part, Jacob was dating his co-star from Kissing Booth Joey King before his reported relationship with Zendaya.

Of course, Zendaya and Jacob could just be really good friends who like to vacation and go to the movies together. But, they could also be more than that. Only time shall tell.

Believe me when I say I already have way more hair accessories than a person with one head could ever need, but I'll still be dropping coin on Justine Marjan x Kitsch Round 3. I can't resist! Marjan is one of the most creative hairstylists in the biz, and her original Kitsch collab featuring those oh-so-Instagrammable, now-heavily-replicated word barrettes had everyone ditching basic bobby pins and hair ties in favor of fun, festive accents. This time around, the new collection features far more than just hair clips yes girl, I'm talking scrunchies! And, you guessed it, headbands too! This collection has virtually everything you could ask for, plus fun textures, cool chains, and more, so let's dive in and ooh and ahh together, shall we?

In the age of Instagram, makeup artists and hairstylists to the stars have blossomed as celebrities in their own right, and Justine Marjan (Who got her start as assistant to Jen Atkin of Ouai!) has garnered an army of 339 thousand followers who turn to her for all things hair inspo. She posts updo tutorials on her Stories, photoshoot behind the scenes on her feed, and every now and then, a full-on celebrity flex yes, she's the genius behind Ashley Graham's heavily-accessorized Met Gala ponytail, and yes, the look single-handedly kept the barrette trend breathing.

To Marjan's followers, her word is law, so when she announced a bevy of new trendy pieces to debut in her third accessory collaboration with Kitsch, they were beyond thrilled:

"Introducing faux leather scrunchies and headbands and accessories with chain details in silver AND gold!!" Marjan wrote, and if, like me, you previously struggled with the all-silver selection, you're no doubt pleased. "We took your feedback and made something I think you all will love!!" Marjan shared, and by the looks of it, she's absolutely right.

Hi? Are you seeing this? Could a more beautiful hair accessory situation even exist??

The above are pieces from the Chain and Bow Bobby Pin 8 Piece Set ($49, mykitsch.com), as well as a few bedazzled bits from the Rhinestone Chain Bobby Pin 2 Piece Set ($49, mykitsch.com), shown above in gold but also available in silver. Rather than come out with more word barrettes, Marjan went the route of decorative edgy faux-chains and contrasting sweet bows, which can be mixed and matched with the word clips you might already own to create totally new 'dos.
